THQ have announced the next game to be in the All Star Franchise, All Star Karate. This spring, you will be able to hone your karate skills in the comfort of your own home, only on the Wii.
All Star Karate, which is the first Karate game on Wii as well as the first extension in the THQ’s All Star franchise. Players will punch, kick and chop through multiple levels, with play features based on real-life karate moves. The game offers a full-body experience with Wii MotionPlus compatibility. Players will take the role of a karate trainee, who is guided by a wise and humorous sensei, to eventually gain the level of black belt.
In single player, players will need to execute and eventually master various karate moves, using the Wii Remote and Nunchuck, or two Wii Remotes, in order to rank up the seven different colored belts. Challenge mode is also available, allowing players to show off their skills in punching, kicking and blocking against friends. Check out the announcement trailer below for more information.
