About damn time Infinity Ward. The Modern Warfare 2 Care Package patch is finally on the way to the Xbox 360 to fix the glitches that have plagued online matches for months now.

Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling has told Game Informer that the Care Package patch for Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox 360 has been sent to Microsoft for certification and should arrive soon, considering the patch for the PC was issued last month, along with one for the PS3.

Here's what the patch would bring us:

• Care Package, Emergency Airdrop, and Sentry Gun marker grenades sprint speed normalized.


• Fix for "infinite care package" exploit.


• Sentry Guns: Improved placement detection, preventing cases of Sentry Guns inside geometry.


• Model 1887: Bling using Akimbo and FMJ combination now has same range and damage as non-Bling Model 1887s.


• Fixes to prevent various XP hacks.

Yessir! Finally 360 users can get back to playing online the way it was made to play without a bunch of cheaters all over the place. However, I’d be lying if I said I never used the Care Package glitch once or twice….a game. Sorry bout cha’ glitchers, the patch should be arriving any day now.
